MAIQS 2025 - Innovating for Smart and Sustainable Industries and Societies

The International Conference on Measurement, AI, Quality and Sustainability (MAIQS) 2025 will take place from 26th- 28th August 2025 in London, UK. This event will bring together researchers and industry experts from across disciplines to discuss the critical industrial and societal challenges facing us across the world today.

Dr. QingPing Yang, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering, is Chair of the Committee for MAIQS 2025. The event will be hosted at Brunel University, where he is currently the Group Director for Brunel Quality Engineering and Smart Technology (QUEST) Research Group and Robotics and Automation Research Group.  This close link between the journal and conference will serve to further facilitate discussion on key topics and assist in the rapid advancement of research in these areas.

As the conference organisers outline: “The 21st century is witnessing a new phase in human history, marked by unprecedented challenges and rapid technological advancements on a global scale. The former includes persistent conflicts, global health crises, economic inequality and climate change, while the latter is driven by artificial intelligence, smart technologies and Industry 4.0. […] We firmly believe that satisfactory solutions to these global challenges as well as to most, if not all, industrial and societal problems, require an integrated approach based on measurement, AI, quality and sustainability.”
